Well, it seems my music was born to grew step by step and thorough dedication. Even if I have a lot of new songs and ideas in my mind, the fact that there is participation of a lot of people in my projects, brings a kind of line of progessive working in which time needs its own schedule.
Sometimes I feel anxious about it, but it’s O.K. I know that the best things in life have been build with a quiet time to put every part in its place.
While musicians, producer and collaborators are doing their job in my new songs, I save time to participate in other projects. Like this.
Usually I work most of the times and since years ago with the same producer. My friend Miquel, who knows better than no other one which are my ideas and thoughts about a production.
Yes, to work with the same people on and on It is not innovative and it is not risky, but it works as a perfect gear. After all, it’s only Rock&Roll, and we never pretented a different thing. I leave this for other bands and artists who enjoy to play with several styles and mergers. We play in our own league, and we’re happy with this.
And… what a hell! Bruce, Fogerty or Sting they have been doing this their whole damn career. Why couldn’t an independent and rebellious Irishman who rejects about big circuits and survive playing guitar in the most far lost dumps of Spain be able to do it? Feck it!
Anyway. You probably know most of the musicians who play with me and who play guitars and more in my productions. They’re the great musicians at the DBand, and they’re a great professionals and even better people.
Well, after all this years playing together, it seems that we have a new producer here in the DBand. My friend and solo guitar Joan Escrivร produced his first own cover of the great Nothing else matters of Metallica. And he asked me to record the lead vocals in.
Are you kidding? I said. That’s one of my favorite bands forever and ever!!! A big yes!!! We recorded at the barn and the sound there was simply amazing.
Not a song released in any album, but I thought it was a really good job in any case and I created a clip about it that you can watch in my YouTube channel or here down below where I hanged it too.
Hoping do you really enjoy it as much as we do while we’re still working in the last details of my new own stuff and we wait for release in a few weeks.
Thanks a lot for believe
